FAQ

Q1. Are RÓA™ snacks allergen-friendly and suitable for kids?

Our cookies and brownie brittle are thoughtfully formulated to be plant-based and suitable for all ages — recommended from age 1 and up. They are made without eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, or nuts, and use certified gluten-free oats as a base ingredient.

We also use raw sugar that naturally contains molasses, giving a lower glycaemic impact and a rich, caramelised flavour — perfect for those who prefer less sweetness without artificial substitutes. (Please consult your healthcare provider if unsure, especially for those with medical or dietary concerns.)

Allergen Information (Australia-compliant):

• Made without top 9 food allergens (no eggs, dairy, nuts, soy, wheat, sesame, peanuts, fish, or shellfish).

• Contains certified gluten-free oats.

• May contain traces of allergens due to shared airspace and handling during ingredient transport.

• Contains caffeine only in chocolate-based varieties.

All RÓA™ cakes and cookies are roduced in a HACCP- and GMP-certified facility that adheres to the highest standards of food safety and quality. Our products have dedicated production and storage facilities, and are made using separate utensils and baking machinery to further minimise risk of cross-contamination.

Please note that while every precaution is taken, our products have not undergone laboratory allergen testing. We recommend exercising discretion and consulting a healthcare professional if you have severe food allergies.

However, we proudly use selected ingredients sourced from Australia, including our low GI raw sugar, which supports Australian agriculture and ensures exceptional ingredient quality.

Q2. Are RÓA™ snacks vegan?

Our products are entirely plant-based and made without any animal-derived ingredients. While they are not vegan-certified, we ensure that no ingredients or processing aids of animal origin are used at any stage of production.

Yes — our entire production facility and all suppliers are fully Halal-certified. Every ingredient used in RÓA™ cookies and brownie brittle complies with Halal standards, ensuring suitability for Muslim consumers.

Q4. How should RÓA™ snacks be stored in the Australian climate?

Our snacks are shelf-stable for up to 6–9 months when kept in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and humidity. In warmer regions (e.g. Queensland or Northern Territory), refrigeration is optional but recommended to maintain crispness.

Q5. Are RÓA™ snacks suitable for people with diabetes?

RÓA™ snacks are made with raw sugar that naturally contains molasses, offering a lower GI profile compared to refined white sugar. Our Golden Crunch variety uses Australian-produced low GI raw sugar, providing balanced sweetness and slower energy release. However, please note that our snacks are not sugar-free and should be enjoyed in moderation by those managing blood sugar levels.

Q6. Are RÓA™ products made in Australia?

No — all RÓA™ snacks are crafted and baked in Singapore under strict food safety and quality controls.
However, we proudly use selected ingredients sourced from Australia and New Zealand, including low GI raw sugar and psyllium husk from Australia and freeze-dried fruit powders from New Zealand. These premium ingredients reflect our commitment to exceptional quality and support for regional producers.

Q7. Is your packaging sustainable?

Yes! Our packs are lightweight and recyclable, helping reduce waste and shipping footprint. They also make great little planters — simply wash them out, fill with soil, and grow your seeds at home!

Q8. Do RÓA™ snacks contain palm oil or avocado?

No. We do not use palm oil. Our recipes use a blend of rice bran oil and sunflower oil, chosen for their light texture, neutral flavour, and sustainable sourcing.
